Pelvic Exam

A medical examination of a girl or woman’s internal sexual and reproductive organs (ovaries, uterus and cervix) and external genitals (inner and outer labia and vaginal opening). This exam should be done three years after first vaginal intercourse with a male partner or when a woman turns 21. Girls and women who have sex with other girls and women should have a Pap test when they turn 21.
