Why does my partner always have an orgasm during sex, but I don’t?

There are lots of reasons why one partner may have an orgasm while the other doesn’t. Couples need to be able to speak openly and honestly with one another about what feels good, what they want, and if they’re comfortable with what’s happening. Stress, worry or anxiety can also get in the way of a pleasurable experience.

Of course, orgasm doesn’t need to be the only goal of having sex. If someone is so focused on an orgasm, it can actually be harder to have one because they’re not focused on the sensations of what’s going on. Sex is about sharing physical and emotional pleasure with another person, and lots of sexual behaviors that people engage in can bring that pleasure, not just the orgasm.
