Tsering Bista

Seventeen-year-old Tsering is an avid writer, who already has her foot in the journalism door. In addition to her work at Sex Etc., she also reviews theater shows and art exhibitions for Teen Reviews and Critics (TRaC) and works as an intern for a local newspaper. She lives close to New York City and loves the variety and abundance of art the city has to offer. She visits the Big Apple often to get material for her work at TRaC or just for a good time when she has a free moment. Tsering also does schoolwork, bowls and works on the literary magazine she founded at her school. She is also the vice president of her school’s chapter of the World Food Program and does public relations for her school’s gay-straight alliance. She hopes that one day she can work as a reporter and see the world. Tsering works at Sex Etc. hoping to get a better sexuality education since she feels her school did not give her enough information and wants to pass along the knowledge she receives to others.
