Sophia Boone (she/they)

Sophia (she/they and using “she” in this bio), 17, is a book enthusiast with a love for writing of all kinds! In her spare time, you can often catch her reading a classic like her current favorite, The Picture of Dorian Gray. Sophia also classifies herself as a “movie junkie.” She loves genres ranging from horror to animation like Fantastic Mr. Fox. Among her proudest accomplishments are working on her very own book manuscript and movie scripts (she hopes to become a screenwriter someday). Sophia also loves music and holds a special place for Broadway soundtracks and singers like Frank Sinatra. In her second year as a Sex, Etc. staff member, she hopes to continue advocating for the right to comprehensive sex education, breaking down the stigma around what is considered taboo in many places!
