Meet the Staff

Siyona Sreejit (she/her)

Siyona (she/her), 16, is in her second year at Sex, Etc. and ready to take social justice issues head-on and make an impact. When she isn’t singing, swimming or cozying up with a good book, Siyona is advocating for reproductive rights and promoting global access to health care and educational resources, two issues she is eager to tackle. Born in Canada, Siyona moved to the U.S. in 2020. This has given her a wider view of how sex and sexuality are seen across cultures. When she isn’t promoting more comprehensive sex ed, she’s volunteering in local communities, making new friends or writing a new poem. As someone who easily connects with others, Siyona enjoys the team-building with other teen staff members as well as figuring out creative ways to communicate with a wider audience about comprehensive sex ed !
