Siyona, 17, is in her third year with the teen staff! She is passionate about advocating for reproductive justice. Siyona uses writing as a way to express herself, including via Sex, Etc. At school, she’s the president of both the Service Engagement and Red Cross Clubs. She’s also active on the student council. In her free time, Siyona enjoys singing, swimming and reading crime novels (one of her favorites is To Catch a Killer by Sheryl Scarborough). Some fun facts about Siyona: she has a background in Indian classical music and dance and also has a non-profit dedicated to advocacy for five main issues: animal shelters, homeless shelters, cancer research, better access to education and autism research.
