Meet the Staff

Shiloh Bernard (she/her)

Meet Shiloh (she/her), 17, an outgoing advocate for more accurate sex education. This is her first year as a teen staff writer and she’s looking forward to working on her writing. She hopes to bring more awareness to sexual and emotional health, especially to help younger teens learn about their bodies. Shiloh enjoys going on walks to clear her head. In high school, she’s found participating in cheer and dance as good outlets for energy and emotional expression. In her free time, she loves doing hair to help others express themselves, too! A cool fact about Shiloh is that she loves exploring the environment and nature, specifically rural parts of the U.S. Shiloh also enjoys learning languages for fun! She learned Korean from workbooks and Chinese in school. Shiloh sees herself moving abroad after high school graduation and is considering a career in forensic psychology.
