Meet the Staff

Sherry Wang (she/her)

Meet Sherry (she/her), 17, a kind and outgoing artist, writer and baker. This is her first year as a teen staff member; she heard about Sex, Etc. through peers at school and was interested in being part of an inclusive environment that focuses on increasing awareness around sex ed. In her free time, Sherry enjoys running and traveling; she recently traveled to Spain and Portugal with her family. Sherry also teaches art and cooking to kids as a camp counselor! At school, she’s a member of multiple clubs, including Model UN and the Gender Equality Club. She also plays cello in the orchestra. Sherry enjoys music; favorite artists include Lana Del Rey, Conan Gray and Tyler, the Creator. In the future, she’d like to pursue a career as a lawyer but in the present, she’s enjoying working alongside other teens to share sexual health information, knowledge and advocacy skills.
