Shelsea Rodriguez

Shelsea, 17, is a three-year veteran of Sex Etc. After learning about the publication in school, she decided to join the team and make a difference for people who might not have much accurate information about sex. Born in Cuba, Shelsea moved to the U.S. at the age of four. She loves politics, swimming and reading long fantasy series like A Song of Ice and Fire, which HBO’s Game of Thrones is based on. Shelsea also often enjoys watching Studio Ghibli films with friends, jamming out to Drake and chowing down on octopus in her spare time. At school, Shelsea participates in the history club and mock trial as she prepares to study law in college. She dreams of backpacking across the world and possibly the solar system (assuming she can snag a spot with Mars One). For Shelsea, success and a fulfilled life are not about the money we make but the value of our experiences.
