Meet the Staff

Samantha Wilk

Sam is a kind and funny 17-year-old. You can almost always catch her with a smile! She is passionate about advocacy and helping others. In the future, she hopes to have her dream job of human rights lawyer. For now, Sam channels her passion for helping others through the Teen Prevention Education Program (PEP) at her school. As a Teen PEP educator, Sam is trained to inform freshmen about different sex education topics, like contraceptive methods and sexually transmitted diseases (STDs). Otherwise, she stays busy by writing and performing stand-up comedy, watching Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt and The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel and playing with her two dogs, Munson and Norman. Her knowledge about sexual health and eagerness to learn more and share what she’s learned have fueled her interest in writing for Sex, Etc.!
