Meet the Staff

Saima Jaitly (she/her)

Saima (she/her), 18, loves talking about tough topics that others might avoid. She believes that educating people is super important, especially regarding things like sex that some might feel uncomfortable discussing. At school and beyond, Saima stays busy—whether playing lacrosse, managing the soccer team or being active in Model United Nations. She even started a nonprofit that teaches debate to kids in South India and raised money to get them laptops for weekly Zoom lessons. She also enjoys hanging out with friends and being creative by painting and planning her outfits (shopping is one of her favorite hobbies). Plus, she’s a big fan of Zach Bryan’s music. Saima’s excited to be a part of Sex, Etc., where she can keep pushing boundaries and helping others learn through her writing.
