Meet the Staff

Nathan Lam

Nathan, 17, has been on the Sex, Etc. teen staff for two years. His older siblings had also been on the staff, and Nathan joined after seeing the impact that their writing had on other teens. He also wanted to improve his own writing skills and expand his understanding of comprehensive sex ed. Nathan enjoys writing articles that are both informational and inclusive of different perspectives, so readers always have the opportunity to form their own thoughts and opinions. Outside of Sex, Etc., Nathan is super busy being president of NJ HOSA (a student-led, professional organization for young people interested in the health care field), working on a medical patent with friends and playing with his dog, Simba!  In the future, he’s interested in pursuing a career in biomedical engineering and entrepreneurship.
