Mayuna Tomita

According to the dictionary, the term Renaissance man (or woman!) is defined as a person with a broad knowledge of many subjects. When it comes to that label, Sex, Etc. newcomer Mayuna Tomita, who goes by May, fits the description to a tee. May, 17, learned about Sex, Etc. through a friend. She was excited to work somewhere that offered writing critiques as well as better sex education. In addition to reading and writing, May loves playing the ukulele, cello and piano. She’s also an athlete who runs indoor/outdoor track and cross-country. May describes herself as an “extroverted introvert”; she says she feels no real pressure to classify herself as one or the other. One final fact: May’s goals include pursuing a career in plant biology.
