Meet the Staff

Lei Anne Galicia

Lei Anne, 16, was born in the Philippines and moved with her family to the U.S. when she was very young. Growing up in a multicultural home instilled a love of travel in Lei Anne, and she hopes to one day have a career that allows her to travel and visit places, like Japan. Lei Anne enjoys volunteering at a hospital, working with patients, young and old, through her school’s Zonta club, an organization dedicated to advancing the status of women worldwide. Lei Anne balances her time spent indoors, surfing the Web or reading books, with time spent outside, biking or walking. Lei Anne writes for Sex, Etc. because she is passionate about making sure teens worldwide—who otherwise wouldn’t have access to sexual health information—are educated about sexuality.
