Meet the Staff

Kira Eng

Kira, 18, who is in her second year as a staff writer, first learned about Sex, Etc. from a friend at school. Kira enjoys talking about sexual health and has written stories about LGBTQ pride and culture. In her free time, she loves to take care of plants, play the piano and sing. She is just as focused and persistent as she is bright and energetic, and hopes to eventually work in the medical field, perhaps specializing in obstetrics and gynecology. She initially believed she wanted to double major in biology and English, but is now considering focusing on gender and sexuality studies after taking a course in the subject last year, which she loved. Kira wears a smile wherever she goes and always makes an effort to learn new things and meet new people.
