Meet the Staff

Kelvin Ayora

Kelvin is a writer as well as a musician and spends his free time playing one of the six instruments he has mastered! Kelvin puts his talent to work as a member of his school’s marching band, choir, jazz band, percussion ensemble and men’s choir. Music helps Kelvin relax and unwind. In addition to attending school and playing music, Kelvin volunteers at a nursing home, is an active member in his school’s gay-straight alliance, participates in Junior Statesmen of America (JSA) and his school’s High School Democrats club. Kelvin’s interest in Sex, Etc. was sparked by his passion for the LGBTQ rights movement. Kelvin is thrilled to have the opportunity to educate other teens across the country and is excited to learn about himself along the way!
