Meet the Staff

Kelsey Schwimmer

When 17-year-old senior Kelsey isn’t writing exceptionally awesome stories for Sex, Etc., she’s swimming on her high school’s varsity team, serving as a certified lifeguard and volunteering regularly at “Animal Allies,” an animal rescue shelter in her community. Because her sexuality education class freshman year was “better than most schools but not nearly as comprehensive as it could be,” Kelsey became interested in writing for Sex, Etc. She believes it provides a unique way of educating and informing teens about important issues related to sexuality. She is most interested in writing about slut-shamming and other forms of social judgment.
