Meet the Staff

Jakhi Lodgson-McCray

Growing up with an English teacher mom, 17-year-old Jakhi was always passionate about reading and writing. His love of writing and journalism—as well as his interest in sex ed topics such as consent and intimacy—are what led him to join the staff at Sex, Etc. Not only does Jakhi read a book every week, he also has a passion for fitness and tries to run four miles every other day. He is a member of the track team and the wrestling team, and also takes part in other extracurricular activities, such as student council and Environmental Club. Jakhi aspires to work in the medical field and one day be a doctor; he also wants to volunteer to help the environment. When he’s not super busy, Jakhi spends his free time watching movies or playing his favorite video games, Breath of the Wild and Splatoon 2.
