Meet the Staff

Jahnavi Bhalla (she/her)

Jahnavi (she/her), 18, is a friendly and driven high school senior in her first year on the teen staff. Besides Sex, Etc., Jahnavi is super-involved in extracurricular activities at school. Not only is she the arts editor of her school newspaper, she also co-leads the Asian Pacific Islander Desi American (APIDA) Club and is on the badminton team. Additionally, she is a talented artist, working primarily with acrylic paint. With her overflowing creativity, Jahnavi also loves to knit. She hopes to work in the health care industry in the future; she’s especially interested in psychology and the pharmaceutical industry. Jahnavi joined Sex, Etc. because she wants to make people more aware of  intersectionality when it comes to people’s various identities as well as mental health and how these topics pertain to sex education. She’s excited to be on the teen staff and contribute to the sex ed of teens across the world!
