Meet the Staff

Jack McNeilly

Jack McNeilly, 17, is a senior in high school who has been writing for Sex, Etc. for two years. After originally hearing about Sex, Etc. from his older sister, who was also a writer, Jack was inspired to join the teen staff. He has been particularly excited to help give teens access to comprehensive sex education, like the education he got at his high school. Among other things, Jack has written about peer pressure and how relationships between teenagers can influence a person’s thoughts on sex and sexual behavior. He looks forward to exploring many more topics in the upcoming year. Aside from writing, Jack enjoys basketball, golf and watching historical fiction movies on Netflix. His friends would describe him as laid-back and studious but always ready for a sporting event. In the future, Jack hopes to become a more patient person (since he feels he currently has no patience!).
