Meet the Staff

Alexandra Yoon-Hendricks

Alexandra, a seventeen-year-old senior, is an aspiring writer and journalist. She spent last summer at the Medill Northwestern journalism camp and is the editor-in-chief of her school’s newspaper. Reporting has always been a passion of hers, and she is especially interested in making sure people have the facts and doing away with the stigma surrounding STDs, abortion and sexual orientation. She loves working with Sex Etc. on issues such as the lack of comprehensive sexuality education in schools, which leaves teens unable to make informed decisions about their sexual health. When not writing, Alexandra is busy performing in musical theater productions and is also a dedicated member of her volleyball team.
